Reiki: Harnessing the Universal Life Force energy

The Order of the Gold Dragon recognises and holds at it's base the original teachers of what has become known as Reiki.
The healing system of Reiki has at its base the Sanskrit teaching of Tibetan Buddhism.

History of OGD Reiki

A japanese healer known as Dr. Mikao Usui travelled to Tibet to study ancient sanskrit texts in pursuit of healing techniques.

He eventually found the answers he sought and returned to Japan and formulated a healing system from his learnings and called it Reiki, which translates to mean 'Universal Life Force'. The system utilises a hands-on technique for the transfer of this energy.

He taught other this technique and so began the Teaching Master tradition in Reiki. Mikao Usui passed on his teaching to two students. One of those students taught a Tibetan Monk named Denise Detanya whose passed on the teaching to a Monk named Russell Carlin in Australia. Russel passed on those teaching to the author in 1993 and and completed my intiation into the role of Master Teacher just prior to his passing into spirit.

The OGD Reiki practice is based on those teachings.
